Athens On Demand Transit is a division of Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, a nonprofit agency that, through advocacy and a variety of services, helps families and individuals achieve an improved quality of life by working to alleviate the hardships of poverty. Simply, Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is a non profit corporation that develops, manages, and provides services and support to individuals and families who lack sufficient financial resources to meet their basic needs or to provide the quality of life they desire. Most services are funded through federal and state resources, but are supplemented through local levies, private grants, fundraising efforts, and donations from local business and community members like you.
Your donation to Athens On Demand Transit will help provide transportation services to people in Athens County who need help getting to the medical, education and social services they need to lead a richer life. Those that will benefit from your generosity include, but are not limited to developmentally disabled young adults, dialysis patients, seniors, and people with disabilities.
