Bringing Healthy Home supports families during pregnancy and for six months post-partum, a critical time for the health of parents and babies. We aim to improve physical and mental health outcomes by increasing food access, addressing individual concerns, setting goals, and enhancing confidence in managing health.
The program serves residents of Hocking, Athens, Perry, Gallia, Jackson, Meigs, or Vinton Counties who identify as low-income and food insecure. Participants can join at any stage of pregnancy.
Families receive home delivery of specially designed, nutritious food boxes, home visits, comprehensive case management, and opportunities for educational workshops and activities.
Funding comes from the Ohio Department of Health and other generous supporters.
