A four year degree in Human Resources is preferred, but a two year degree in accounting or a business related field with two years of experience is acceptable. Foodbank Clerk (Part Time)
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is looking for a Part-time Foodbank Clerk at the Southeast Ohio Foodbank in Logan. Responsibilities include but are not limited to fielding phone calls, entering data, invoicing, and assisting with reports. The Clerk will assist the Foodbank Operations Manager with completing all Foodbank orders/invoices and acknowledgement of Donation forms. They will answer the warehouse phone and take dock appointments for incoming food deliveries. They may also answer questions from pantries regarding accounting matters, grant balances, how to use ordering software.
A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. In addition, applicants must possess very good computer and organizational skills and have the ability to communicate with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds. This is a Part-time, grant-funded position, with flexibility in scheduling.

Transit Manager with GoBus
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is very excited to announce the immediate opening of Manager for the GoBus Intercity Bus Program. The Manager will join a close-knit, mission-driven team working to combat poverty and improve the lives of individuals across Ohio.
The Manager will be responsible for assigned components of the program including: oversight of daily administrative duties; maintaining and building relationships with vendors and partners; marketing and the marketing budget; and community outreach. The starting salary for this full time position is $40,000 and includes a full fringe benefits package including 100% health, dental, and vision coverage for the employee, paid sick, vacation, and holiday leave, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Community Engagement Manager
HAPCAP is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Community Engagement Manager with the Southeast Ohio Foodbank in Logan, OH. As a member of our team, you will manage and expand the Foodbank's relationships with the community: with volunteers, corporate, civic, faith-based, non-profit, and school stakeholders to further our mission to end food insecurity in Southeast Ohio.
The Community Engagement manager will be responsible for managing community-facing relationships, including volunteer recruitment, placement, retention, and recognition, as well as liaising with donors, community leaders, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will plan and execute mobile food distributions and box-packing events on a weekly/monthly basis. They will also manage scheduling and service databases to track volunteer participation and neighbor service visits.
Successful candidates will have the ability to work well with a wide range of staff, partners, neighbors, and vendors. Additionally, the candidate will need to establish and maintain good relationships with community-based organizations, social service agencies, corporate entities, donors, and more. Good leadership, relationship, organizational, and management skills are required.

Community Health Specialist
The SE Ohio Foodbank is excited to announce the immediate opening for a Community Health Specialist with our HAPCAP for Health team based in Logan. As a member of our team, you will work to further health access, food security, and equity for
our neighbors.
The Community Health Specialist will conduct case management with participants in our Bringing Healthy Home (maternal/prenatal) and Food as Medicine programs. The Community Health Specialist will meet with program participants on a regular basis, conducting home visits to deliver food and other materials. They will assess goals and assist with accessing resources and supportive services to meet health and social needs. They will also serve as a liaison between participants and healthcare professionals, to help address barriers to healthcare access.
Successful candidates will have the ability to work well with a wide range of staff, partners, neighbors, and vendors. Additionally, the candidate will need to establish and maintain good relationships with community-based organizations, social service agencies, healthcare providers, and managed care providers for referral of participants and care coordination.
Good leadership, relationship, organizational, and management skills are required. The Community Health Specialist will maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all assigned program funding source regulations and guidelines.
Ideal candidates will be technologically adept with programs including Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and iPads. Applicants should be mission-driven and have an interest in serving Southeast Appalachian Ohio.

Transit Dispatcher
HAPCAP's Transportation Division is excited to announce the immediate opening of Transit Dispatcher for our Athens On Demand Transit (AODT) program. The Dispatcher will be joining a close-knit, mission-driven team at HAPCAP.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling trips for the public.
- Communicating with drivers for passenger pickups and returns.
- Maintaining trip logs.
- Answering calls.
- Helping the public understand how to use the system
- The individual will also be trained to drive passengers when needed
AODT is a curb-to-curb transportation system serving Athens County. AODT transports the public to various destinations within the county, whether for work, medical appointments, school, shopping, or entertainment.

Early Head Start Home Visitor in New Lexington: This is a 40 hour per week position working 12 months a year. Applicants must have an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field with preference given to those with a BA. Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings. Salary is $ 17.95 to $21.34 per hour depending on educational qualifications with a full benefit package.
Substitute Teachers: Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma/GED. Salary is $15.00 - 17.02 per hour, depending on educational qualifications. Hours will vary based on the need.
Center Based Teacher in Athens, Nelsonville, and Logan: This is a 40 hour per week position working 10 months a year. Applicants must have at least an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with preference given to those with a BA. Salary is $17.84 - $22.96 an hour depending on educational qualifications with a full benefit package.
Center Coordinator/ Family Partnership in Nelsonville: This is a full time position working 12 months a year. Applicants must be able to meet State and Federal licensing requirements for a Child Care Administrator. A Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education with experience working in a child care setting is preferred. An Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered. Salary is 25.53- 26.63 an hour depending on educational qualifications.

Laborer
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is seeking applications to fill available full time Laborers in our Housing and Community Development Division. The laborer position provides assistance in completing units for our Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) which provides energy efficient measures in client's homes such as blown in insulation, air sealing, and ventilation. Applicants must have basic knowledge of or interest in the construction trades, be able to work at heights and/or in confined spaces, and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Applicants must have completed or be willing to complete training courses to include but not limited to: EPA Lead RRP, Basic Weatherization Tactics, Blower Door Use, and OSHA 10.

Heating Technician
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is excited to announce a new position at the agency, Heating Technician. HAPCAP is seeking to recruit one of these positions to assist our Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) program with HVAC related work as it pertains to energy conservation as well as health and safety in residential settings.
Applicants must have at least one year of HVAC experience (two preferred) and the EPA 608 Technician Certification Type II or Universal. Applicants must be able to work at heights as well as in confined spaces and must possess an ability to achieve production requirements. Applicants must be highly organized and attentive to detail, have a strong work ethic, possess a valid Ohio driver's license, have a good driving record and have access to reliable transportation.
The successful applicant must have or be able to complete training programs such as Heating Technician Training, Heating Unit Inspection, Lead EPA RRP, and OSHA 10. Part Time On Call Maintenance Worker
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action is seeking a part time Maintenance Worker to be available to respond to emergency maintenance needs at Creekside Apartments in Chauncey, Ohio outside of standard business hours. The times of possible short notice need to respond will be from 4 PM - 8 AM daily Monday - Friday as well as all weekends and holidays. Hours of work will vary greatly, be inconsistent and will be based solely on after hours need.
Applicants will be expected to be able to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance functions at any of the six buildings at Creekside Apartments and should have 1 year of maintenance experience. Applicants must be able to work on all aspects of the property both inside and out as well as in confined spaces and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Athens Public Transit - Class B & C CDL Drivers
Hocking Athens Perry Community Action (HAPCAP) is seeking dynamic and experienced people to fill available positions for full and part-time Athens Public Transit (APT) CDL Drivers.
APT is a public transit fixed route service in Southeast Ohio. The service connects the communities of Athens, The Plains, Chauncey, Nelsonville, and Albany. This fast-paced and diverse position is responsible for transporting the public to various destinations within the service area whether for work, school, shopping, entertainment, and other locations.
We are looking for applicants who are capable of working individually and as a team, possess excellent driving skills, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals. A Class A or B CDL license with passenger and air brake endorsement or Class C CDL license with passenger endorsement is required.
This position will be based at our APT garage, located in Athens. The starting salary for Class A and B CDL licensed driver is $16.35 ($34,000/yr). The starting salary for Class C CDL licensed driver is $15.39/hour ($32,000/yr). Both part-time and full-time positions include paid sick, vacation, and holiday leave. Full-time positions include a full fringe benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance at no cost to the employee, life insurance at no cost to the employee, and 401(k) enrollment after the first six months of employment with an employer-match program.
Buses operate Monday-Saturday with day, evening, and late-night shifts available.

Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class "B" with passenger endorsement
