FROM MEDIA –The Southeast Ohio Foodbank, a program of Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, is hosting an on-site food distribution for income-eligible residents of its 10 county service area.
This program will begin on January 11th, and end May 17th, 2022. Families interested in receiving food can stop into the Southeast Ohio Foodbank (1005 CIC Drive, Logan, OH 43138) from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Full dates: January 11th, 18th, 25th, February 1st, 8th, 22nd, March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, May 3rd, 10th, and 17th.
The Foodbank serves Athens, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and Washington counties. Families residing within this service area and who are within 200% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible to pick up food during the distribution. Photo I.D. and proof of residency no more than 60 days old is required, and income is self-declared on site. Pre-registration is not required but strongly recommended. Attendees must follow the signs, and remain in their vehicle upon arrival for drive through/mobile pick up.
If you are unable to pick up food for your household, you may assign a proxy.
